Pain from shingles, consider:

APIS MELLIFICA—Burning, stinging, and swollen like a bee sting. Worse for warmth, touch, and at night.

ARSENICUM ALBUM—Burning spots, itching and swollen. Worse for cold in any format, is chilly. Better for warmth and wrapping up. Anxious and restless with the pains.

RHUS TOXICODENDRON—Fluid-filled blisters, which when burst release a burning, highly irritating discharge that causes redness and swelling. Intensely itchy spots, neuralgic pains persist for some time after the eruptions clear up. Worse when resting, especially at night, better for warmth.
